24 Hours of Political Psychology: 26. - 27. February 2026
Join us for the 6th Annual Meeting of the Political Psychology Network in Vienna
Thank you for numerous high quality submissions. We are happy to welcome you to the sixth meeting of the Political Psychology Network at the University of Vienna on 26th and 27th February 2026.
As in previous years, there is no participation fee.
This year's conference theme is Political Psychology, Climate Justice, and the Climate Emergency. Despite this focus, the conference welcomed and received submissions on all topics under the umbrella of political psychology.
Presentation Timing
When is discussion and question time?
Generally, each presentation is discussed directly after it is given. That is, the session's structure is presentation - discussion - presentation - discussion, and so on. However, we are aware that there are interdisciplinary differences in preferences, with some disciplines preferring a shared discussion at the end of the session. Of course, if all presenters in a session agree that they would prefer this structure, you are free to handle it this way in your panel session.
How much time do I have?
If your session has 4 presentations, each of you has a 22.5 minute time window.
If your session has 5 presentations, each of you has an 18 minute time window.
How much time should I save for questions and discussion?
We recommend reserving about 25 % of your time slot for questions and discussion. Thus, if your session has 4 presentations, you should present for about 16 - 17 minutes and leave the rest for questions. If your session has 5 presentations, you should present for about 13 - 14 minutes and leave the rest for questions.
How do we stay on track?
In each room, there will be a chair (a member of the Political Psychology Network) who will hold up signs to alert you of your presentation time coming to an end and who will ensure that people stick to their time slots.
Can we change the order of presentations within a session?
Sure, you can change this spontaneously, no need to inform the organiser team. However, make sure this is okay for everyone in the session, and consider that people might be trying to switch between sessions to catch certain talks.
