Join us for the 5th Annual Meeting of the German Political Psychology Network

on September 19th and 20th 2024 in Vienna, Austria

We are happy to invite you to the fifth meeting of the German Political Psychology Network, to be held at the University of Vienna on 19 September (afternoon) and 20 September 2024. This meeting is organized by a group of researchers from the University of Vienna, including both political scientists and psychologists. There will be no participation fee.

Submission Types

We call for submissions in the following categories:

a) Research panels including 3-5 research presentations on a common topic, phenomenon, or theory from political psychology. Submissions should include an overall title and abstract (max. 300 words), titles and abstracts for each research presentation and the names of the chair/discussants.

b) Individual presentations. This category is open to stand-alone presentations, including research presentations, registered reports, pre-analysis plans, or project proposals that require a more collaborative multi-lab approach (and for which you may be looking for collaborators). Submissions should include a title and abstract (max. 300 words) as well as the type of research presentation and the names of presenters and discussant(s).

c) Round-table discussions. This category provides room for debates and discussions on conceptual or theoretical hot topics. Submissions should include a topic, some open or controversial questions, and a list of 3-5 (potential) discussants. Submitters can have the role of a discussant or a moderator.

Note that we explicitly welcome the submission of work in progress in all its stages.

Conference Location

The conference will be held at Oskar-Morgenstern-Platz 1 in 1090 Vienna.

The building is within walking distance from the university main building and reachable via subway (U1 and U4) or tram (S1, S2, S3, S4) from Vienna Central Station.

Talks will be held in Lecture Halls 1 - 4, 7, and 8; find detailed accessibility information on the rooms here.
